Place a large share of ice cubes in a tall glass.

Add the homemade liquorice vodka then the lime juice and finish with spicy ginger beer.
Add ingredients in order — heaviest first, lightest last.

Stir well and add a large sprig of mint (give it a good clap first to bring out the flavour).
Stir gently for 20-30 seconds. Stirring chills without diluting as much as shaking.
