Origin

Created in 1942 at a Hawaiian bar for the artist Theodore Anderson but popularized in the 1950s at Club 21 in New York City.

Pour 1 min
Pour all ingredients directly into old-fashioned glass filled with ice.
Pour slowly over the back of a bar spoon to layer cleanly.

Stir gently.
Stir gently for 20-30 seconds. Stirring chills without diluting as much as shaking.
