Origin

Recipe adapted from David Embury's classic 'Fine Art of Mixing Drinks'. Named after the epic (and somewhat camp) Cecil b. De Mille movie, which took its name from a Russian folksong hymning the Volga - Europe's longest river.

Shake 1 min
Shake all ingredients with ice and fine strain into chilled glass.
Shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds until the outside of the shaker frosts. Always use fresh ice.
